Interested cowboys 4 Indians !                         Class of 2009 with young visitor from Delta

Navajo Elementary students work on weaving their custom designed rug using hand spun wool.  The individual and culturally oriented skill is a year long project. They  are pleased to produce such a fine piece for sale by the end of the school year. In January 2010, Norm & Betty Pesch, trail riders, took 12 hand quilted jean blankets to the children and fell in love with the kids and the school. A BIG thank you to Shirley Dykes who has made the blankets for the children for the past 2 years.
Bob and I visited Navajo Ministries Feb. 09 & 2010 with our oldest granddaugher. We were happy to be a part of their school day and learned so much about each one of the students. Diane Hebberd gave us a grand tour of the many different Ministries on site in Farmington.
We were so touched to see the wonderful homes the children live in with such faithful house parents!
