A Little Bit About Us
We go beyond the requirements of organic certification programs for our beef, pork, and lavender production on the Western Slope of Colorado. We believe the safest meats and body care products can be grown and produced without the use of chemicals!
Good nutrition starts with good soil and we believe the most nutritious meats and foods are grown in such an environment. We are 4th generation farmers and ranchers in Olathe — located on a 33-acre conserved farm in the heart of the high country of Western Colorado. The fresh country atmosphere and acres we live and work on provide a healthy setting for our livestock, vegetables, herbs, and grandkids to thrive on.
At DaySpring Farm
We are interested in providing the Western Slope of Colorado and beyond, with natural meat and specialty plant products. Our mission is to use natural and organic practices as they pertain to hog and beef production. We have seen these successful practices implemented in past years. A study shows the omega-3 fatty acids are higher in the meat produced because of these techniques in farming and feeding. The fresh, country atmosphere and acres we live and work on provide a healthy setting for our livestock, vegetables, and grandkids to thrive on!
